Mass Unfollow for X ("the Extension") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we access and how we handle it.
Data We Access
The Extension accesses the following data from Twitter/X:
- Your following list (usernames, follower counts, profile information)
- Authentication cookies to perform actions on your behalf
Data Storage
All data is stored locally on your device using Chrome's storage API. We do NOT:
- Transmit your data to external servers
- Share your data with third parties
- Collect personal information
- Track your browsing activity
Data We Store Locally
- Your filter settings and preferences
- Whitelist of protected accounts
- Cached following list for offline viewing
- Daily unfollow count
Third-Party Services
The Extension uses ExtensionPay (extensionpay.com) for processing Pro subscription payments. ExtensionPay handles payment data according to their own privacy policy. We do not have access to your payment information.
Permissions
The Extension requires the following permissions:
- storage: Save your settings locally
- activeTab: Access current Twitter/X tab
- scripting: Interact with Twitter's interface
- cookies: Authenticate API requests
- alarms: Schedule delayed operations
- host_permissions: Access Twitter/X and ExtensionPay
Data Deletion
You can delete all stored data at any time by:
- Using the "Clear Data" button in the Extension
- Uninstalling the Extension
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page.
